Rimini

Capital of the Romagna Riviera and particularly loved by all generations, especially in the summer season, in which it attracts tourists from all over Europe, in particular from the German and Scandinavian countries, Rimini is not only a seaside resort, but also a city with back centuries of history.

Known and renowned since Roman times, the symbols of the city are, in fact, the Tiberius Bridge – commissioned by the eponymous emperor – and the Arch of Augustus, the oldest Roman archway to enter a city best preserved throughout the boot.

Also noteworthy are the remains of the so-called “surgeon’s house”, a Roman house that probably belonged to a city doctor. Raised as a commercial and cultural city thanks to the medieval Malatesta family, Rimini preserves its memory in the Arengo Palace in Piazza Cavour (built in 1207) and in the Malatesta Temple – a religious building in the heart of the city.

Tourist buses can stop in the heart of the city in an area dedicated to them and equipped, just 500m from the sea. For more information, visit the website of the local institution at: http://www.riminiparking.it/tariffe/. We remain available for any questions.
